ANIÁN The Georgia Wool Shacket – Slate Blue — Size XL
A beautifully made layering piece designed for cooler days and effortless transitional dressing. Handmade in Canada, ANIÁN’s The Georgia combines the ease of an oversized shirt with the warmth and substance of a wool jacket — an ideal layer for late summer evenings through fall and beyond.
Crafted in a soft, substantial wool fabric with a textured heathered finish, this shacket features a relaxed silhouette, classic pointed collar and full button-front closure. Oversized patch pockets add a subtle utility influence, while buttoned cuffs and thoughtful seam detailing give the relaxed shape a polished finish.
The muted slate blue colour is especially versatile — softer than navy but equally easy to incorporate into a neutral wardrobe, pairing beautifully with denim, cream, black, chocolate and earthy fall tones.

Late Summer → Pre-Fall Styling
For late summer, when the evenings cool sooner than we’d like here on the west coast, wear it open over a white tank or tee with denim shorts, a denim midi skirt or relaxed jeans and Birkenstock-style sandals. The heavier wool against bare arms/legs gives that really good cool August evening contrast without looking prematurely autumnal.
For September, I’d pair it with a white tee, straight or wide-leg denim and loafers or retro sneakers. It would also look great over a simple slip dress with boots once the evenings cool down.
Going further into fall, layer it over a fine knit or turtleneck with black trousers or dark denim and leather boots. Because of the blue-grey tone, I’d also mix in cream, camel, chocolate brown, burgundy or olive rather than automatically styling it with black.
A beautifully crafted Canadian-made layer with the ease of a shirt and warmth of a jacket — perfect thrown over a tee on cool late-summer evenings and layered with knits, denim and boots well into fall.
